Free app · Compatible with D&D 5e
Your campaign,
ready in 5 minutes.
Want to play D&D for the first time, but put off by page after page of rulebook and hours spent building characters and drawing maps? With ESKIT you don’t have to: your sheet does the math, the rules are already in the app, and your map is one tap away. It’s free, and it works on phones, tablets and computers.
The English version of the app is coming soon — for now it’s in Italian.
Right in your browser, nothing to install.

Paper character sheet or app?
Ditch the paper.
At the table, your time goes to the story, not to pencils and rulebooks.
Paper sheet and rulebook
- ✎Modifiers, bonuses and Armor Class worked out by hand every time something changes.
- ⌫Erasing and rewriting at every level, with every wound.
- ☰Flipping through the rulebook for a spell, a weapon, a monster.
- ✕Spell slots tallied in the margin, and then forgotten.
ESKIT
- ⚡Modifiers, proficiency bonus, Armor Class, hit points and spell slots update on their own.
- ☝Change a value with one tap: the rest of the sheet follows.
- ✦Spells, monsters, weapons and armor are already in the app, with their stats.
- ↺Tap to mark spent slots, and they come back when you rest.

Automatic character sheet
You create. ESKIT does the math.
Answer five questions about how you like to play and ESKIT suggests a class, race, alignment and ability scores. Or build everything yourself, field by field.
- Ability modifiers, proficiency bonus, saving throws, initiative and hit points, from your class, race, level and ability scores.
- Skill proficiencies from your race, class and background, assigned with a tap.
- Armor Class from the armor and shield you wear, following the Dexterity rules.
- Spell slots and spells known or prepared for your class and level, plus class resources: ki, rage, sorcery points.
- Multiclassing with up to two classes, with ability score prerequisites and combined spell slots.
- Edit any field on the fly. You save the sheet with “Save character”; at the table, during a session, each player’s sheet saves itself. And you can print it if you need to.

Spells, monsters and equipment
Less reading,
more playing.
The game content of the System Reference Document 5.1 (SRD 5.1) is in the app, with the real numbers: it’s right where you need it, while you play.
- Browse the bestiary or search it by name, type and challenge rating, with the full stat block for every monster.
- The spellbook on your sheet filters by level and school and shows the full spell text.
- Choose weapons, armor and tools right from the sheet, with their stats.

Maps for tabletop RPGs
Your world, one tap away.
Pick a terrain and ESKIT draws the map. Don’t like it? Generate a new one. Or upload your own.
- Nine terrains: plains, forest, mountain, city, coast, swamp, desert, glacier, stone.
- Markers in six shapes and six colors, each with a name, visible to everyone or only to the GM.
- Player and monster miniatures to move around the map, with a ruler in feet or meters.
- Five music moods, from the tavern to mystery, or your own audio for the scenario.

Campaigns for GMs (DMs) and players
The whole party
on the same screen.
The GM prepares, the players take their seats at the table, each on their own phone or tablet.
- Add friends with a friend code, and join a party with an invite or a link, even without an account: sign up and you’re in.
- The GM sees the players’ sheets and can correct them: changes reach everyone within seconds.
- Combat rolls initiative and puts players and monsters in order, with hit points, Armor Class, turns and conditions.
- Every player sees the same combat and moves their own miniature on the map.

Roll the dice: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20
Always under your thumb
d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20 with a single tap, from the top bar of every screen. For bigger rolls, combine several groups of dice and a modifier, and see what each die rolled.

Frequently asked questions
Before you take your seat.
Is ESKIT free?
Yes, ESKIT is free: you don’t pay anything to use it.
Does it work with D&D 5e?
Yes: ESKIT is compatible with D&D 5e and uses the rules of the System Reference Document 5.1 (SRD 5.1), released under a Creative Commons license. That’s why it has the classes, races, spells and monsters from the SRD: 12 classes with one subclass each, 9 races, 319 spells and 317 monsters. Not everything from the rulebooks is included.
Do I need to sign up?
Yes: to save your characters and play with others you need an account, with a username, email and password. You confirm your email with a six-digit code.
Does it work on phones, tablets and computers? And when is it coming to Android and iOS?
ESKIT works in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to install. The Android and iOS apps are coming soon: we’ll announce them in the news when they’re ready. The English version of the app is coming soon — for now it’s in Italian.
Can I play with friends who don’t have the app yet?
Yes. The GM sends the party invite link: whoever opens it signs up, or logs in, and joins the table, as long as there are seats left and the session hasn’t started. Anyone without a character creates one before sitting down.
Where is my data stored?
The database and the files you upload are stored in the European Union, on Cloudflare’s servers. Which providers process your data, and with what safeguards, is explained in the privacy policy (in Italian).
